The project concerns the design and construction of an open space, with a bedroom in the attic and two bathrooms, all with particular attention to spatial material experimentation.The intent is to give the home a free environment consisting of a living area and kitchen, the fulcrum and key element of the design idea. Wooden elements of custom-made furniture have been studied that connote and emphasize every detail of the house. The building will be constructed on a plot facing the south, on the suburbs of Kos town, in a neighborhood with few yet built-up plots. It will consist of a ground apartment and two apartments on the upper floor.The building is placed mirrored to the existing block of flats, to the west. Our client wished to have a cozy, peaceful home in natural tones. We weren't satisfied with the full plan so we made some changes, demolished some walls, by this way we supported to take the daylight flow in all the rooms, also have a better use for the spaces.The couple asked for different areas, where they can spend individual quality time by themselves or with friends. The most important feeling was to leave all the stress of the daily life, the crowd out and to feel relaxed supported with natural vibes. More
