Cafe Lotus

Lotus has been making caramelized biscuits in Belgium since 1932. The quintessential Lotus Café is a meeting point for visitors and employees at the Lotus Bakery headquarters. Design studio Pinkeye showcased the iconic shape of the Lotus biscuit in some decorative details. They picked the Kuskoa barstool and Makil chair to furnish one of their most recent projects. Pan de Fuego

The proposal we developed for the new storefront for Pan de Fuego in Cholula, is originated from the understanding of the artisanal process of the product they offer, artisanal bread. Also, the value on the preexistences found on the site is complemented by materiality and furniture.  Caption The honesty of the baker's work and its product, encouraged a proposal that related to the work inside the kitchen, prioritizing materiality and interior ambiance. With this in mind, we chose to strip the walls to expose the brick and neutralizing it to contrast the color of the original floor tiles, a model called 'huichol' which we were asked to keep but were happy to do since it adds to the identity and characteristic colorfulness of the... Il Pane Quotidiano Bakery

Trieste. Pane Quotidiano is an advanced and modern gastronomic reality with many locations in the city. The bread is always hot there. The raw materials are processed in the traditional fashion to be served fresh from the kitchen to the customers, while sitting relaxed on a patio or around a table with friends.Evoke wood-effect porcelain stoneware, chosen for the entire design of one of the locations, suggests a mill, in the countryside. The Sand version makes up the interiors in three ground sizes, and the exteriors in K2 thickness.Pure evocation of the most precious wood, with a “rustic”, soft, warm and welcoming flavour, this series of rectified, porcelain stoneware floor and wall tiles, for interiors - both residential and c... NOMILI

Nomili Patisserie is a chain of French-style cafés offering a wide range of quality pastries. Following the success of the first location in Kfar Saba, several other branches were opened in Hod Hasharon and Ra'anana.   The initial branch was designed in a certain manner that did not suit the nature of the brand as it developed over the years, and therefore requires cosmetic renovation.    The first thing that stood out was that what is already a small space, felt even smaller because of an incorrect division of space. As one can only imagine, every meter that is not properly utilized in any business and in a small space in particular, may have a decisive effect on the success of the business. Therefore, we have can... More

Interior Design Artelier Artisanal Bakery

This project was a bit challenging because we had to change the current image of the space and turn it into a very bright one, with a Parisian flow. We decided to choose pastel colors such as pink and gray for the background, filled with complementary gold and blue details. To better optimize the space, we reorganized it so that there is a correct customer flow, with as much space as possible for product exhibition and storage. The added feature that we came up with was the bar table area, which allows the customers to enjoy a delight on the spot, along with a hot cup of coffee. More

Bread Lab

Bread Lab Bakery in Fulham Reach, London, involved a lot more than just the bakery shop design and is a great example of the full turn-key service Liqui Group can offer our clients. As well as the bakery interior design itself, we followed the whole process through, from render to reality, providing initial concept designs, photo-realistic renders, 3D visuals, full specifications, building control consultancy, liaising with the landlord, fit-out and full project management through to completion. In addition, we provided all of the furniture and lighting including custom made shelving and banquet seating. For this particular retail design project our client, who was passionate about baking, wanted the bakery cafe interior design to reflect... More

Cookbook Bake

Liqui were approached by Cookbook Bake with regard to designing bookshop interiors. The brief required an adaptable store design which would predominately be a cookbook shop but that could also be used to hold cooking classes. The clients already had a broad collection of characterful furniture that they wanted to use, and Liqui were tasked with creating a retail interior design that would compliment these existing pieces. As always, Liqui created extensively detailed visuals so that the client could clearly see exactly what their shop design would look like in reality. After approval, we supplied the client’s own build team with detailed specifications from which they could work to achieve the desired solution. The resulting interi... More

La Madrugada Bakery

What is La Madrugada? We wanted to do something just for Javier Moreno, a baker who works from the forefront recovering the tradition. We wanted an identity only for him. The idea is thought between him and Rubio & del Amo, graphic designers. A series of parallel concepts appear around the night, the world of dreams… There is talk of crafts, the manual, and also of the collective imaginary about the traditional bakery: the baker who gets up early in the morning and works during the night, in his own. We wanted to run away from an aesthetic that reminds us the industrial designs or french pâtisseries. On the one hand is the workshop, a large space where it is filled with machinery, trays with wheels and large floured ta... More

Nóz Cafe & Bakery

The project of this bakery involves a peculiar context. The owners sought first of all to set up the establishment in some rented commercial place, naturally provided with infrastructure to operate a bakery. After unsuccessful attempts to rent a space, either due to documentation issues or owner dissent, they made the decision to use a family property, specifically the home of the owners' parents, located in a residential neighborhood in the city of Limeira. Renovating the family home is practical because it does not require third-party approvals. On the other hand, a high number of constructive challenges have emerged from adapting a middle-class residence in a bakery that was still functional and attractive. One of the premises... More

Gaudenti 1971 - Po

Gaudenti 1971 is a new format that mixes the small, Italian fine pastry shop with a large international bakery. This was the starting point to define a space that could convey both respect for the traditional values of Italian culture and a strong drive for renewal. This premise translated into a careful renovation of existing elements, which were systematically integrated into the new decor. While a different graphic motif was designed for each venue, giving a new interpretation of historical decorative styles, the consistent use of velvet and blue wood ensures the brand is instantly recognizable. The original wood paneling from the early 1950s was renovated to lighten up overall decor and make it more delicate. In the same way, the ce... More
