The Finnish/Japanese media production company Cocoa and animation company Boutique moved to their new office in Kallio, Helsinki in the fall 2019. The people at Cocoa wanted Franz to design a cosy, japanese inspired office spaces with natural materials. They wanted to have a calming space to spend time in also after working hours and to host various events. The Japanese feel was created with wooden battens, framed glass walls and with tiny Japanese zen gardens situated along the hallways.
Along with working spaces, meeting rooms and lounge areas, Franz designed a recording studio and a screening room for presenting final productions.
