The plot is located in an urbanization on the outskirts of Zaragoza, in Cadrete, and although the plot that defines it is orderly and logical, it collides with the infinite variety of building typologies, being the most varied result.
The proposal is the result of a deep analysis of the plot, a simple prism lengthened in a south-north direction join with a fantastic southeast orientation, protection from the strong prevailing wind (cierzo) which in turn facilitate cross ventilation, views towards the mountains that define the Huerva valley and privacy. In turn, the proposed volume generates a studied access path, in which the large garden area is hidden until the interior of the house is accessed, where through the day area we contemplate it for the first time.
The plant is divided according to your privacy into three clearly differentiated areas. Firstly, the garage and services, a final element where the bedrooms are located. And finally the central piece, defined as a gap between the two, which is organized around a characteristic central piece of furniture.
The volume is defined by the folds of the roof that respond to each of the functional modules, highlighting the central element to house a small loft. The spaces for housing are defined by a light fir wood cover, differentiating it from the garage module, which is heavier with a concrete slab.
The naturalization of the plot boundaries is transferred in an abstract way to the main facade, whose vibrant shape respond to the surrounding environment.
