The curved bamboo decking offer many advantages in comparison to conventional boards. "Curved" means that the surface is slightly rounded and smoothly planed. Visually hardly distinguishable from a normal, smooth planed decking board, the new MOSO Bamboo X-treme has some very practical advantages: Due to the light, central elevation of 1.5 mm, the water drains away immediately so that the terrace dries quickly – e.g. after a rainstorm - and becomes less dirty. The new decking board also offers an advantage during installation.

Installation decking boards without a slope
The new MOSO decking board has a rounded surface instead of the ribbed surface found on traditional boards. As a result of this improvement, water does not remain on the board but drains away easily. Therefore, in contrast to ordinary decking boards, no slope is required during installation. A fast installation is the result of the profiling and clip system. The tongue and groove end match connection can save a considerable amount of material and thus costs. New 155 mm wide Curved boards complement the standard range with widths now available of 137 mm, 155 mm and 178 mm.

Made of durable natural material
In a complex Thermo-Density process, fine bamboo strips are hardened under high pressure and heat to resist mould and weathering; they have similar or better properties than tropical hardwood. Architects and landscape specialists appreciate the decking boards for their technical properties and impressive CO2 balance: Bamboo X-treme meets all requirements of the highest durability classes according to current EU standards. The official CO2 balance of the boards confirms that they are CO2 neutral or better.

25-year warranty
MOSO Bamboo X-treme decking boards are made from a durable natural material and, when installed correctly, can withstand weather and user influences for a quarter of a century. Since its launch in 2009, more than three and a half million square metres of MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® decking boards have been installed in both large projects and private gardens. Its proven quality forms the basis of the 25-year long warranty.
