PhD in Architecture and associate professor of Architectural Projects at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of the University of Granada. His research focuses on issues related to the landscape, the dynamics of change in the 21st century city or the relationships between heritage and contemporary architecture. Co-founder of CUAC Arquitectura actually as TOMÁS GARCIA PIRIZ STUDIO, his work and research has been widely published and awarded (FAD, AR AWARDS, XIII BEAU, XIV BEAU, X BIAU, BAUWELT, ARCHITIZER, BESTARCHITECTS ...) and exhibited at major events such as the Venice Biennale. (2008 and 2016)), Spanish Architecture Biennial, ABOVEMM (Mexico, 2013), IAAC (Seville, 2014) and more. His office has been awarded the prestigious DESIGN VANGUARD 2016 award with which the American magazine Architectural Record designates the most outstanding emerging architects from around the world.
