Christchurch Justice and Emergency Services Precin

The Christchurch Justice and Emergency Services Precinct (CJESP) is the largest combined facility of its kind in Australasia, and the first major public development built by the New Zealand Government following the devastating 2010 and 2011 earthquakes. The Precinct, commissioned as a key project to accelerate the reinvigoration and revitalisation program within the city’s devastated CBD, consolidated all justice and emergency services within a single purpose-built precinct made up of three elements; the Justice Building, the Emergency Services Building and a car park for operational vehicles. The 40,000m2 precinct was designed through a collaborative process between Warren and Mahony, WSP Opus Architecture and COX to house 19 multi... En savoir plus

Private Residence Cz

Partly restored, partially recovered, this ancient Neapolitan house overlooking the Gulf of Pozzuoli, boasts a breathtaking panorama, which frames an extremely contemporary but classic space at the same time. The white boiserie emphasize a recovered wooden floor, designed years before, and provide a neutral background for contemporary furnishings, with cool tones and refined finishes. The house enjoys some classic and timeless pieces, inherited from the family, such as the mahogany grand piano in the living area, or the entirely crystal dining table. The brass thresholds placed in correspondence with the main entrances of the house, represent the connection between the old and the new, and together with the accessories and lamps they embell...

The intervention consists in the renovation of an apartment overlooking the port of portofino. It consists of two levels not connected to each other: one on the ground floor in direct connection with the pier, used as a bedroom / warehouse and one on the first floor of the building, where the living space is developed with an open space system.   The biggest challenge of this project concerns the creation of a flexible and transformable space, able to adapt to different needs and functions, through the realization of concealed wooden panels. The entire project draws inspiration from the materials used in the boats, an element present in the port on which the building overlooks.   Material Used: 1. Produit • By FlexformPiuma

The Piuma collection of cabinets is a delightful marriage of understated elegance-of-form and the dramatic expressiveness of wood. In contrast to the deliberate simplicity of the design is the choice of veneers – crafted with exotic, rare woods like mahogany featherband, Amara ebony, Canaletto walnut and ash, available in a number of shades. Free of handles, the finger pull is cut directly into the structure. A 45° mitered edge on the door/drawer serves as a finger grip, accentuating the clean, smooth lines of these cabinets that can be included in any setting and easily paired with all the tables, chairs, sofas and armchairs in the Flexform collection. Piuma cabinets are available in many configurations, bo... Victorian Square

The concept for Victorian Square is inspired by a nearby backcountry skiing haunt referred to by locals as “The Pillow Factory”. The highlight of this area is the countless snow-covered rock outcroppings (pillows) that gently step down the slope with skiers playfully bouncing down the terrain from one pillow to the next.  We sought to abstract the inherent qualities of a typical pillow where the snow is softly suspended over the mass of the rock, revealing the stratified lines of past snow falls. Peterson Cover Brick from Denmark represents the stationary mass of the rock outcropping.  These handmade bricks are detailed using a lapped siding technique with hidden fasteners, which recalls the many wood sided buildings...
