When renovating or constructing a new building, one of the most difficult moment is choosing the floor. Finishes, effects and textures determine the character and style that you want to give to the environment. The process of selecting the materials to be used and the dimensions therefore becomes of fundamental importance. Caption Newfloor contributed to the construction of the administrative building of VPS Srl, a Venetian company based in Codevigo (PD) which deals with hazardous and non-hazardous waste, supplying more than 600 square meters of raised access floor. The Ugly Duckling becomes a Swan by Simone Micheli

Freddie is the new sofa and armchair bed, presented at Supersalone, born from the collaboration between Milano Bedding and the architect Simone Micheli, designed to highlight the quality, comfort and Italian craftsmanship of which the company is the spokesperson. A combination of design and skills, functionality and elegance that makes the sofa bed the hero of the living room, as in “The Ugly Duckling becomes a Swan” by Simone Micheli project. Private apartment / Kyiv, Ukraine

This apartment of 150 sqm, designed by Sophia Zurko, is located on the 13th floor of a skyscraper in a modern residential complex in Kyiv. The 90 sqm terrace and the panoramic view of the city are its highlights. The owners are a couple that embraces the energy of the city but wanted its own island of peace and comfort. A minimalist style and neutral shades characterize the apartment. Almost all the furniture are made in Italy. The floor lamp Kwic, designed by Serge and Robert Cornelissen, is no exception. Its design, elegant and refined, embellishes any space and Sophia has chosen it to illuminate the living room, complementing the natural light that comes from the big windows of this room. Private apartment / Moscow, Russia

Olga Lapshova designed this apartment located in a modern residential complex near Vorobyovy Gory in Moscow. A contemporary style characterizes it, but there is also space for classic and vintage touches like the chairs of the dining area. The couple owning the apartment worked in many European countries over the years and wanted to bring these places in it. French, Greek and Italian ‘memories’ find their expression through the interior design. Axolight has contributed to this project with two of its most iconic collections: Jewel and Fairy. Private apartment / Kyiv, Ukraine

A project, located in Kyiv, conceived by the team of the design studio U Concept. This apartment of 133 sqm is distinguished by an interior design with a comforting and cosy atmosphere. Our floor lamp Float by Mario Alessiani has been chosen to illuminate and furnish the relax area created in one of the corners of the master bedroom. Private house / Krakow, Poland

This house in Krakow – Poland – was designed by Jarosław Ormezowski of Studio Domo. A house with a wide square footage of approximately 400 sqm in which classic and contemporary come together harmoniously. Natural materials are the protagonists of this project. Marble is used diffusely in the house, from the living room to the bathrooms, giving a luxurious and elegant touch to every room. In the living room, the veins of the marble tie with the dark woodgrain, exalting the overall interior design.   In the entrance corridor the wall lamp Polia with its discreet light suggests the path to the living room to all the guests. Chromavis headquarter

Axolight has given its contribution to the restyling of the Chromavis’ headquarter, a leader company in the cosmetic sector. An innovative project given the overall modern design, the sustainability criteria utilized and the use of the project strategy Fast-Track Design that has reduced the construction time up to only 18 months.   Axolight has curated the lighting design of the project, collaborating with the Art director of the client. The final result is a unique lighting installation of ten suspensions Velvet in three different dimensions (diameter 70, 100 and 130 cm). These lamps are covered in a peculiar fabric placed by hand. Pine Tree Villa

The guiding stylistic principles used by GAO architects for the Pine Tree Villa project include using sophisticated design tools to achieve a balanced interplay of the classical and modern styles, while the placement of the volumes follows the existing architecture of the building, to upgrade it into a coherent overall look.   The entrance is enclosed within a classical portal, indicating the common thread of the interior – the interplay of classical and modern stylistic principles. The monumentality of the entrance continues with a classical parquet flooring, while the open-plan scene reveals a two-storey living area embellished by the elegant and sculptural presence of the Liaison pendant lamps designed by Sara Moroni. Riverside residential

The transparent elegance of Mountain view by Dima Loginoff suits perfectly the vision of Danya May and Katia Tretiakova for this apartment. The refined furniture and finishes that characterize the interior design, confer a sense of coziness, underlined also by the neutral tones.   Kitchen and living room are only separated visually by the change of texture of the floor. The award-winning Cut, lamp designed by Timo Ripatti, illuminates the master bedroom of this project called Pirs’55, by Natalia Lutovich. A laconic and minimalist design characterizes the entire apartment, property of a young couple. Private residence / Sicily, Italy

The couple that lives in this townhouse wanted to refresh the style of it, without making a complete renovation. The general idea was to create an elegant and contemporary ambience, taking advantage of the warm tones, already present in the house.   In the master bedroom, the architect Anna Lisa Turco valorized the room with a floral wallpaper and our pendant lamps Fairy by Manuel Vivian. The version with 12 pendants descends at the center of the room, while two Fairy, on each side of the bed, illuminate the night tables. Fairy embellishes this room, creating the elegant and contemporary atmosphere desired by the owners. Private residence / Sicily, Italy

This apartment of 150 sqm was entirely designed by the architect Anna Lisa Turco. The general idea was to create a cozy and serene atmosphere for the young couple living in it. Wide spaces and simple lines characterize the kitchen and the dining area, where touches of colors exalt the interior design.   The technical lighting, intentionally hidden, leaves the scene to Fedora, by Dima Loginoff, in its 7 lights version over the table and in its recessed version over the kitchen counter. Residential complex "Brodsky"

This apartment, designed by Andrey Porvatov, is located in the private residential complex of “Brodsky” in Moscow.  One of the main advantages of it is the panoramic view. For this reason, choosing the right lighting solution, Andrey needed a transparent lamp that did not block this view.   The choice fell on Mountain view by Dima Loginoff.
