Avani Kalutara Resort is a casual two hour drive from the city of Colombo. The resort is situated on a prime strip of land where the views cover the lake, lagoon, and the ocean. The picturesque setting creates a unique atmosphere for a resort hotel. Caption Overall design concepts developed for the common spaces; reception, all day dining, suites, indoor and outdoor lounges, and bar were to emphasize on vibrance of resort living, by bringing in subtle hints of colour, whilst maintaining a balance between the architecture and interior design elements. The architectural design of the residence is a combination of  modern design details, maintaining the traditional elements. Situated in Colombo 7, the residence consists of a wide road frontage. The design aesthetic of the facade was critical ensuring the privacy of interior spaces whilst maintaining a methodical architectural language throughout the residence. The use of timber trellis work between the first floor level column grid severed the monotony from the ground level solid boundary wall, and further elevated the building facade. GL-RESIDENCE is an extensive project that includes the renovation of a residence, the interior design of 234 m2 and the design of a garden lounge landscape on an area of 0,2 ha. The new school of Komořany is located on a northern sloping plot adjacent to the forest at the edge of Prague. We perceive the plot as a connecting transition between the forest and the new public infrastructure - a transition between the wild and the cultivated. XTOPIX The new building responds to the morphology of the plot. We connect the individual floors to the adjacent height levels of the surrounding terrain and neighboring streets. We use the maximum of the dramatic elevation - immersing the building to the terrain we cover the volume of the new school. Project concept:  This project has been positioned, upon entrustment, to create a public commercial district that is different from the traditional fully-enclosed community. The project owner hopes that the fence of the residential area can be retreated so as to create a public commercial district with a worldly life and demonstrating regional culture. As planned, the commercial district will connect the Jiangpu Park in the south and the riverside greenbelt in the east to create an urban green valley with infinite possibilities for residents here and nearby to explore. The Wooden Cabin Town is located on an island in the West Sea of Lushan, southwest of Jiujiang, Jiangxi. It was designed by Shanghai Parallect Architecture Studio. The predecessor of this water area is Xiu River, one of the five major rivers in Jiangxi. Xu Yingda From the 1950s to the 1970s, the Xihai Barrage, known as Asia's largest dam, was built here, and it formed a unique island in the lake area: like clusters of jungle floating above the water. Perched on a bluff overlooking the water, this house on Long Island’s East End is a serene year-round retreat. Living spaces open outward toward the landscape, catching cool breezes and lapping waves in summer, and in winter orient inwards toward a cozy two-sided fireplace and warm wood paneling.
