Villa Schneider

Oxsimoro Architetti en tant que Architectes.

In a beautiful country landscape, we erected a villa enclosed in the ground, with the intention to camouflage the volume and disappear in the green. In front of us a fantastic back side of a hill, full of ancient trees and old stone walls that recall the tradition of this country area. Because of this atmosphere we used differents processing of the concrete walls with the intention to recreate a “stone effect” and after we plant some different creepers all around. A green terrace roof hidden by grapes complete the suggestion . The house is partially cover with earth, so ground floor is – 50 cm. shortest and offer a particular view of the outside. Two different big trees pass through living ambients and like tutelary deity cover with foliage the villa. The big cor-ten windows increase the sensation that interiors are mingled with the outside green area, and in summer days is difficoult to perceive if you are inside or not.
