Is there a better way for a design firm to see and feel how well an innovative flooring collection works than to install the products in their own corporate headquarters?

Is there a better way for a design firm to see and feel how well an innovative flooring collection works than to install the products in their own corporate headquarters? Thiel & Thiel, specializing in interior design for the hospitality industry and multifamily residential developments, wanted to transform the former photography studio—a dark, choppy interior with green walls and ACT ceilings—into a creative, inspiring collaborative space for designers.
Foster Creativity, Enhance Collaboration.

Create
Thiel & Thiel removed old ceramic tile and broadloom and installed a vivid combination of carpet tile and luxury vinyl tile from Patcraft’s Mixed Materials. To contrast with Thiel & Thiel’s brand color, a vivid yellow, the design team selected Mixed Materials patterns in clean, modern neutral tones of gray, black, and white. Seamless Transitions, Eye-catching Patterns.

Transform
Now, designers walk across a seamless transition of patterns, neutral shades, and textures, creating visually dazzling effects in this open, flexible floor plan. Create a visual impact with flooring. Patcraft’s Mixed Materials Collection provides flexibility for designers who want options, because the different patterns, colors and textures can be played with in different ways.
“We wanted flooring that would transition from space to space without creating any visual boundaries” Paige Byrd, partner and interior design director
