The largest public tennis facility built in NYC in half a century, this project was a key component of the Randall’s Island Redevelopment. The small site necessitated combining the fieldhouse, clubhouse and stadium into one. Made of pre engineered metal, the building uses louvers to naturally ventilate the fieldhouse, and skylights in the clubhouse to provide light and views; colored panels and rotated structures prevent any monotony.
