Shizuka Flat

In this apartment , a young couple, a Java sparrow, and a school of killifish is living. The owner told us that the Western style living room where the sofa and table are placed is too large to relax. We planned the three small spaces of the living room, the bedroom and the sanitary with a little gap. And we placed incidental parts such as kitchen, study, bookshelf and inner terrace in that gap. As a result, this room became a calm space with a physical scale. The material is wood, cement, and painted finish. Light entering from the edged window goes through the gap and enters the room.
