The college is both open to the city and laid out as a ring around a central south‐facing courtyard. Two areas stand out: The ground floor is geared towards pedestrians, combining transparency while marking out the ground of the plot. The higher area, which is treated as topography and allows the identification of the three fundamental elements of the project: the college, the sports hall and the boarding school. This ensemble is united by a pre‐patinated zinc covering, that creates the same emblematic urban feel to the plot as the local area. A ring of vegetation crowns the whole of the courtyard roof and offers great visual comfort to users and locals alike. This heightened landscape, enlivened by a gentle topography, complements the more urban zinc roofs.
