House in Rome - Contemporary details in a classic nest

Mobilificio Marchese en tant que Fournisseurs.

The project for this house in Rome was born out of a specific request by the clients: to have a bright house but with warm and welcoming elements, with a "classic" atmosphere and some contemporary points.

Punto Zero Architetti, who oversaw the renovation of this private home and the entire interior design project, created a unique space between the soft seating area and the dining area in which one of the protagonists is a Groundpiece sofa by Flexform. Upholstered in fabric in natural colours and with the ever-present bookcase armrest, it is a true masterpiece of design by Antonio Citterio.

On these light, neutral spaces are grafted brighter episodes in the colours, which dialogue with each other. One example is the kitchen which is entirely green in both material and wall colour.

A custom-designed space to make the most of every available inch. A built-in tall unit area has been created with an oven, fridge and wine cellar. In the area under the window, a large worktop was created with storage space underneath. Both elements were made with Ak_project by Arrital, Fenix NTM in Comodoro Green colour. A matching Italia island by Arcliena, complete with hob and sink area and with a White Carrara Marble top, completes the kitchen. The detail of the Rap Wood stools by Colico, with their marked and evocative design, add a touch of unmistakable style.

Moving from the living area to the sleeping area, we arrive at the bedroom where we find an intense play of warm and cold tones. The blue of the bedside tables contrasts with the sunset colour of the Aston double bed by Alf da Frè. The linearity of the shapes is its trump card, furnishing with a timeless elegance that will never go out of fashion.
