"A" Chair

It takes lot of effort to design something simple. “A” chair is a multi functional chair which we designed for our own studio. We wanted a chair which can have a multiple utility yet it has to set perfect into the environment of a particular utility (dinning chair, visitor’s chair, waiting chair, outdoor chair). After working on mild steel plate which turned out of around 120 kg for the base, we worked on base of plywood which came out as a final module of the chair. A color acrylic refreshes the formal aspects of chair design. We wanted just seat & back as an element & wanted a reflection out of it as a chair, which is visible that no extra members or supports can be seen in the design.
