Juan Pablo Ortiz Suarez studied architecture at the Universidad de los Andes. Partner Giancarlo Mazzanti and Rodrigo Rubio from 1995 until 2000, develops various remodeling projects and architecture competitions. In the year 2000 is Juan Pablo Ortiz architects and in September of that year, wins the contest from the file of Bogota, positioning itself as a young architectural firm, and beginning to consolidate its experience in public and institutional projects. At the same time to the study of architecture, he has served as Professor of the Universidad de los Andes since 1998. In 2004 obtained the national Colombian Lápiz de Acero design award, by the work of the archive of Bogotá and won several preliminary architectural design competitions. He has published his projects in several national and international publications.
